We found Windygates online while looking for a new family member after our dog of 16 years passed away. After seeing they had puppies available, we made the drive out to their farm to visit. We were met by Tilly & Cooper as soon as we opened the car doors and right away could see how well socialized the dogs were. It was clear from visiting with Windygates that their dogs are well taken care of and are treated as part of their family. We welcomed Eleanor (Ellie) into our family and she immediately brought so much happiness into our home! Ellie is our wild child! She has a larger than life personality, rarely stops moving and is always up for an adventure! She greets us with full body wiggles and will follow us around the house because that is what spaniels do! She loves, loves, loves the water & will jump in any chance she gets! We got a pup from Windygates canines in October, 2023! When we went to go look at the puppies I fell in love right away! Chester is the sweetest pup! He’s cute and loves people and is always smiling! He also has a lot of energy! He has a very fun personality and loves to go everywhere with me! We had a great experience working with Windygates canines! They were great to deal with and they care for there dogs well! Chester is also smart and trainable and he doesn’t bark much which is nice as well! He’s pretty quiet! His favorite thing to do is play fetch!

We got our Otis at 3 months old and he is now 10 months old. Otis came to our house with some basic trainings introduced like sit, lay down, shake a paw, Otis was also house and car trained. Windy Gates Canines was prompt at responding to our messages and have continued to help as we’ve had questions!

We can't say enough good things about our Lottie girl. She is the second English Cocker spaniel that we have owned and she has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is always eager to please and absolutely loves everyone. She is particularly fond of our kids (ages 10 and 4) and has been very gentle from a young age. Training her has truly been a joy! She is incredibly smart and loves to learn! She is quite submissive with new dogs, but once she knows them she is full on ready to play. Everyone who meets her falls in love, our vet even wanted to keep her! Windygates did a wonderful job socializing her and starting her basic obedience. She has never had an accident in her kennel and has slept through the night since day one with us.
Lottie is such a loving and loyal puppy who lives to please and is ready for any adventure. We are so happy with our decision to adopt Lottie from Windygates. The family at Windygates was incredibly kind, flexible, knowledgeable, and we could see truly cared for the dogs and puppies at the farm. They made the transition of bringing Dolly home as easy as possible by warming her up to kennel training, leash walking, and lots of cuddling!
